What is stored

• Reader email (local storage). When you unlock an article with your email, that address is kept in your browser so previously unlocked pieces keep opening without asking again.
• Session storage for the admin area. Only for signed-in editorial access, and only while you are signed in.
• Interface preferences. Small values that remember layout state in the editorial workspace.

What is not stored

• No advertising or retargeting identifiers.
• No third-party marketing pixels.
• No cross-site profiling of any kind.

Reading measurement

Article views, gate views and unlocks are counted in aggregate on the server. These counts are not tied to a browser identifier and are not used to profile readers.
